Not everyone is convinced that global warming is, in fact, happening, that people are causing it, and that there is anything that can actually be done about it. Furthermore, there is still debate over whether global warming will have a positive or negative impact on the world's economy, or whether the positive impacts (for Northern Europe, for example) will outweigh the negative impact (for Africa).

If nothing else, efforts to address global warming will have an effect on the global economy. This is a trend that, believe in it or not, will impact your personal finances.
